With 3D facial photography we increase the comfort of our patients, formulate shared goals and make faster decisions. The sophisticated technology behind the portable LifeViz Mini camera allows us to represent the face as a 3D image. Using precise reference points, measurements can then be taken that enable an objective visualization of the skin condition.

In 3D facial photography with the LifeViz Mini we take images from different angles. Dual Beam Pointers help us to quickly produce reproducible images. The technology behind LifeViz then combines the individual photographs into a 3D visualization of the entire face. This allows us to capture the baseline condition before treatment.
A comprehensive skin analysis displays wrinkles, pores, oil content, evenness, vascularization and pigmentation of the skin exactly in graphical form. This allows us to jointly create an individualized treatment plan tailored to the needs and problem areas of the patient's skin.

In addition to skin analysis, we also use the LifeViz Mini for precise measurements. With it we assess the harmony of the face and can compare dimensions, heights, widths and angles with the so-called “Golden Ratio”. The term traces back to a mathematical concept from antiquity in which the ratio between line segments is measured. Art adopted the idea and concluded that a certain ratio between lengths and widths is perceived as particularly aesthetic.

The LifeViz Mini camera from Quantificare is a state-of-the-art device for 3D facial photography and professional skin analysis. The system works with Dual Beam Pointers, allowing us to create simple and quickly reproducible photos. The camera is portable and thus can be used at any time in all our treatment rooms.
The sophisticated technology enables us to create exact analyses as well as before-and-after comparisons and display them graphically.
