Basal cell carcinomas, also known as white skin cancer, are among the most common skin tumors. At JUVENIS in Vienna, these skin lesions are removed very precisely and using the latest surgical methods - as in a recent case performed by dermatologist Dr. Tamara Kopp.

The attached photos document the procedure in the facial area in which a basal cell carcinoma was surgically removed along the root of the nose. A sliding flap plasty was used, in which neighboring skin tissue is moved in order to close the resulting wound without tension.

This technique not only ensures complete removal of the tumor, but also a particularly aesthetic result with a barely visible scar along natural skin lines. In the after photo you can see very clearly that this area shows no visible scars or damage to the skin.
