The attending specialist has many years of clinical experience from the Medical University of Vienna as well as extensive scientific expertise. One focus of her research group is on inflammatory processes in the context of vascular pathologies such as atherosclerosis - in particular their early detection, prevention and treatment.

In addition, topics such as sufficient tissue supply through microcirculation, prothrombotic processes and their prevention are scientifically examined. The resulting findings are directly incorporated into treatment and have also been published in many high-ranking journals.
