The treating specialist brings many years of clinical experience from the Medical University of Vienna as well as extensive scientific expertise. One focus of her research group is on inflammatory processes in the context of vascular pathologies such as atherosclerosis – in particular their early detection, prevention and therapy.

In addition, topics such as sufficient tissue perfusion through the microcirculation, prothrombotic processes and their prevention are examined scientifically. The insights gained flow directly into treatment and have furthermore been published in many high-ranking journals.
