Rhinoplasty in Vienna
Rhinoplasty with JUVENIS
The nose is a central point of the face and is particularly noticeable. A congenital deformity or one resulting from an injury can have a major impact on quality of life due to impaired breathing on the one hand and reduced self-confidence on the other. Successful surgery can put an end to both physical and psychological suffering.
A harmonious effect of the facial proportions essentially depends on the shape and length of the nose. A nose correction can remove a visible nasal hump, shorten or lengthen a nose and change the shape of the tip of the nose and nostrils.

FAQs
Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure designed to alter the shape of the nose and/or improve its function. The goal is to achieve a harmonious appearance of the nose that complements your facial features and, if necessary, to improve breathing.
Rhinoplasty is suitable for patients who:
who are unhappy with the shape or size of their nose
want to correct a crooked nose or asymmetry
experience functional problems such as difficulty breathing through the nose
want more harmonious facial proportions
Suitability is assessed on an individual basis during a consultation.
During a rhinoplasty, the following procedures may be performed, among others:
the nasal hump is reduced
the tip of the nose raised or reshaped
adjusted the nose width
Asymmetries balanced
Corrections of the nostrils
Functional problems with the nasal septum can be corrected
The procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the findings, either an open or closed technique is used. The procedure typically lasts 1 to 3 hours.
You will not feel any pain during the procedure. After the procedure, you may experience swelling, a feeling of tightness, or mild pain, all of which can be easily managed.
The initial recovery period lasts about 1 to 2 weeks. Swelling may remain visible for 1 to 2 weeks. It is essential to avoid strenuous physical activity for 6 weeks.
The first results are visible once the splint is removed. However, the final result will not be apparent until several months to a year later, as the nose takes time to fully develop.
The closed technique leaves no visible scars. With the open technique, a small, usually barely visible scar may remain on the underside of the nose.
As with any surgical procedure, risks such as swelling, bruising, infection, or poor wound healing may occur. In rare cases, a follow-up procedure may be necessary.
Yes. If there are functional issues, the nasal septum can also be corrected during the surgery, which improves nasal breathing.
The cost depends on the extent of the procedure and individual circumstances, starting at €6,500.
You will receive the exact prices during a personal consultation, during which a customized cost estimate will be prepared.
For purely cosmetic procedures, health insurance does not cover the costs. In cases of functional issues, partial coverage may be available in certain situations.
At JUVENIS, procedures are performed by experienced specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Through precise planning, modern surgical techniques, and personalized care, we strive to achieve natural, harmonious results with the highest level of safety.
