Beautiful facial contours thanks to natural substance PDC
"Fat-away injection" for facial contouring
Annoying small fat pads in the face and neck area can be "melted" easily and gently. The substance used for this is phosphatidylcholine (PDC), a natural substance extracted from soybeans. When injected directly into the fatty tissue, it causes the storage fat to dissolve, which is then broken down in the liver in the form of "fat droplets" via the bloodstream.
This can restore facial contours that appear blurred or deeper due to sagging cheeks or fat deposits next to the nasolabial fold (marionette lines).

Treatment procedure fat-away injection
The new phosphatidylcholine solution (PDC), which has recently become available, is injected into the tissue with a fine needle and is virtually painless. The breakdown of fat activates metabolic processes in the body, which lead to tightening of the tissue. The procedure has been used for many years in the treatment of fat embolisms. It is also used successfully in aesthetic medicine.

The use of a new carrier solution largely reduces the side effects that previously occurred (e.g. severe redness, swelling or an unpleasant burning sensation).

The new carrier formula means that hardly any pain, swelling or redness is to be expected. In rare cases, slight sensory disturbances at the injection points have been described, but these subside completely after a while.
Usually 2 to 5 treatments are necessary at intervals of at least 3 to 4 weeks.
After the treatment, you should avoid sport, sauna, solarium and heavy physical exertion for a few days.

FAQs
The fat-dissolving injection, also known as injection lipolysis, is a minimally invasive method for the targeted reduction of small fat deposits. During the procedure, an active ingredient is injected directly into the fatty tissue, which dissolves the fat cells. These are then broken down by the body.
The injected active ingredient specifically targets and destroys fat cells in the treated area. The body breaks these down through metabolism, resulting in visibly more defined and slimmer facial contours.
The fat-dissolving injection is commonly used for:
Double chin
sagging contours in the chin and jaw area
small pockets of fat in the cheek area
It is particularly suitable for treating localized fat deposits, not for general weight loss.
Following a consultation with a doctor, the active ingredient is injected directly into the fatty tissue using fine needles. The procedure usually takes 15 to 30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.
The injections are well tolerated. You may experience a slight burning sensation or feeling of pressure. Local anesthesia can be administered if necessary.
The effects develop gradually over several weeks. Initial results are usually visible after 3 to 4 weeks, with the final results appearing after about 6 to 8 weeks.
For optimal results, 2 to 4 sessions spaced several weeks apart are usually required, depending on the extent of the fat deposits.
Yes. The destroyed fat cells are permanently eliminated by the body. However, this requires a stable body weight, as any remaining fat cells can enlarge if you gain weight.
After treatment , swelling, redness, or a feeling of tightness in the treated area is common. These reactions are normal and usually subside within a few days.
During the first few days, you should avoid strenuous physical activity, saunas, and direct exposure to heat. Mild swelling is a normal part of the healing process.
The cost depends on the area being treated and the number of sessions.
Prices start at approximately €200 per treatment.
During the consultation, you will receive an individual treatment and cost plan.
Since this is a cosmetic procedure, the costs are not covered by health insurance.
At JUVENIS, you will be cared for by experienced aesthetic medicine specialists. Using precise injection techniques and personalized treatment plans, we achieve natural, harmonious results and well-defined facial contours—safely and to the highest medical standards.
