Skin-friendly & gentle treatment of couperose (Akne rosazea I°), pigment spots and age spots at JUVENIS
Many people want to maintain or regain their naturally fresh and youthful appearance. Covering unwanted pigment spots, age spots, melasma and lentigines solares, as well as capillaries and redness, is time-consuming and must be done daily. That doesn't have to be the case, because thanks to modern IPL technology, covering brown spots, redness and capillaries becomes unnecessary.
At JUVENIS, the treatment of pigment spots or melasma and age spots as well as small veins and redness is carried out with the Top Laser Nordlys. The modern IPL technology (Intense Pulsed Light) is an effective yet gentle and non-invasive way to successfully remove bothersome brown spots and redness from various parts of the body in just a few minutes.

Why do pigment spots, age spots, melasma or lentigines solares occur?
Pigment spots are caused by an increased production of melanin. Causes include the sun's UV rays, hormonal changes or inflammation. Especially on the face, décolleté and the backs of the hands, the skin therefore appears older than it is.
Excessive sun exposure and decreased production of collagen accelerate the aging process of our skin. The skin becomes lax and, in addition to pigment spots, age spots, melasma, and lentigines solares, visible blood vessels and redness appear in the form of couperose (acne rosacea I°).

FAQs
IPL treatment (Intense Pulsed Light) is a modern, non-invasive method for improving skin texture. Targeted light pulses are used to reduce pigment spots, redness, and fine vascular changes. At the same time, the collagen production is stimulated, resulting in smoother, fresher-looking skin.
IPL Skin Rejuvenation is particularly suitable for the treatment of:
Pigmented spots
Age spots
Melasma (hyperpigmentation)
Solar lentigines
Couperose (acne rosacea I°)
Treatment of dilated capillaries
The treatment ensures an overall more even and radiant complexion.
After cleansing the skin, a special gel is applied. Subsequently, short light pulses are emitted using the IPL handpiece. The treatment usually lasts 20 to 30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.
IPL treatment is generally well-tolerated. During the light pulses, a brief sensation of warmth or a snapping feeling may be felt on the skin. Anesthesia is usually not required.
After the treatment, the skin may be slightly reddened, similar to a mild sunburn. This redness usually subsides within a few hours or days. Pigment spots may temporarily darken slightly before fading after a few days.
Many patients notice a visible improvement in their skin appearance after just the first session. For optimal results, multiple treatments spaced a few weeks apart are usually recommended.
As a rule, 3 to 5 treatments are recommended to achieve an even and long-lasting result. The exact number depends on the skin condition and the desired result.
After the IPL treatment, consistent sun protection with SPF 50 is particularly important. Intensive sun exposure, tanning beds, and saunas should be avoided for a few days.
Occasionally, slight redness or minimal swelling may occur. These usually subside quickly. When performed correctly, IPL treatment is considered very safe.
The costs depend on the skin area being treated and the scope of the treatment.
Prices start at approx. € 200 per session.
As part of the consultation, you will receive an individual treatment and cost plan.
Since this is an aesthetic treatment, the costs are usually not covered by health insurance. You will receive an invoice for private submission.
At JUVENIS, IPL treatments are performed by experienced doctors and medical professionals. We work with modern technology and create an individually tailored treatment concept for every patient. The goal is a visibly fresher, more even skin with the highest level of safety and medical quality.
