A wide range of treatments for beautiful eyes
Dark circles/eye wrinkles/lachrymal sacs
The first thing we look at in a conversation is usually our eyes. Whether they look radiant or perhaps tired is immediately noticeable. Our eyes are not only the windows to our soul, but also our direct line to the world.
There are various causes of dark circles under the eyes. In most cases, congenital loss of volume is responsible for unsightly dark circles, but discoloration (brown pigment and red blood vessels) can also make the lower eyelid appear dark.

Treatments & therapies
Filler against dark circles
Circles under the eyes are therefore a complex issue that can or must be successfully treated using various methods:
On the one hand, there is the loss of volume - the correction of the ring formation can be significantly improved by injecting/filling(filler) the region with hyaluronic acid and the "missing shadow" already achieves a significant brightening effect.

PDO thread lifting
The Polydioxanon PDO thread lift is an innovation for lower eyelid puffiness (bags under the eyes), for smoothing fine lines such as lower eyelid wrinkles and also for the onset of dark circles.
Laser and peeling
If the eye area is discolored, further brightening can also be achieved with various laser treatments or peeling technologies. These also lead to a general tightening of the lower eyelid region.

Hyaluronic acid treatment procedure
How are dark circles, wrinkles and bags under the eyes treated with hyaluronic acid?
An anesthetic cream is applied to the eye area 30 minutes before the treatment.
We use a new, longer-lasting variant of hyaluronic acid that has been specially developed for the eye area. Thanks to the anaesthetic already contained in the ampoule, the treatment is barely noticeable, even in areas of the face that are particularly sensitive to pain. The hyaluronic acid is injected into the affected area using wafer-thin needles.
Before and after treatment, there are a few points to bear in mind.

PDO thread lifting treatment procedure
How are dark circles, wrinkles and bags under the eyes treated with PDO threads?
An anesthetic cream is applied 30 minutes before the treatment.
The threads are gently inserted into the tissue using wafer-thin cannulas, which are not felt due to the local anesthetic. The grid-shaped retraction of the PDO threads can significantly tighten bags under the eyes. Fine wrinkles are smoothed and the onset of dark circles is also gently eliminated.
PDO stands for polydioxanone - a material that has been used worldwide for decades as a surgical suture material. Today, it is also used to tighten and smooth the skin by stimulating the formation of new collagen. Its decades of use have proven that the material is highly compatible.

Before treatment with PDO threads or hyaluronic acid
Please note the following points 10 to 14 days BEFORE treatment:

After treatment with PDO threads or hyaluronic acid
1 week AFTER treatment should be avoided:
Peeling treatment procedure
Peelings have a very regenerative effect on the skin. They remove the upper parts of the skin layer and stimulate collagen formation in deeper layers of the skin. Thanks to these properties, they can reduce wrinkles, even out pigmentation irregularities, refine pores, heal inflammation and improve blemishes.
A pigment-stabilizing cream therapy should be started at least 4 weeks before the first peeling treatment. Several treatments in total are advisable, with each treatment bringing about a visible improvement.
The skin begins to peel after approx. 2-3 days. This takes about 3-5 days. It is particularly important that you strictly avoid the sun and use sun protection products after the peelings.

IPL treatment procedure
At JUVENIS, pigmentation spots and discoloration in the lower eyelid area as well as veins and redness are treated with the unique Top Laser Nordlys. The modern IPL technology (Intense Pulsed Light) is an effective yet gentle and careful way to successfully remove annoying brown spots, enlarged veins and redness in the lower eyelid area in just a few minutes.

The specially generated light gives your skin a brighter appearance. Pigment spots, visible blood vessels and redness are gently reduced and the skin structure improves. We recommend an intensive treatment with 2 to 5 treatments at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks and then an annual refresher treatment.
A treatment at JUVENIS is always accompanied by the JUVENIS pigment protection concept. This unique pigment protection concept consists of a combination of products tailored to your situation to protect against UV rays and reduce pigment production.

FAQs
Dark circles and under-eye bags can be caused by various factors, including genetic predisposition, skin aging, loss of volume, thin skin, pigmentation issues, stress, or lack of sleep. Fluid retention or poor circulation can also play a role.
Depending on the cause, different methods are used, for example:
Hyaluronic Acid Skin Booster Filler for Restoring Lost Volume
Laser or light treatments for pigmentation or vascular lesions
Exfoliators for brightening the eye area
PDO thread lift to tighten this area
The treatment is tailored to your individual needs.
In cases of volume loss, hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the tear trough. This lifts the skin, reduces shadows, and makes the eye area look fresher and more alert.
Mild to moderate under-eye bags can often be improved without surgery, for example through fillers, skin tightening, or regenerative treatments. In severe cases, however, surgery may be necessary.
After a thorough consultation, the appropriate method is selected. The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and usually takes 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the procedure.
Most treatments are well tolerated. You may feel a slight prick when receiving an injection. An anesthetic cream can be applied upon request.
That depends on the treatment:
Fillers usually produce immediate, visible results
Skin boosters or laser treatments take effect gradually over several weeks
The shelf life varies depending on the method:
Hyaluronic acid: approx. 6–12 months
Regenerative treatments: often lead to long-term improvements in skin quality
Touch-up treatments help maintain the results.
After the treatment, you may experience temporary redness, swelling, or small bruises. These symptoms usually subside within a few days.
Avoid strenuous physical activity, saunas, and direct sunlight for a short time. Your doctor will provide you with personalized recommendations.
The cost depends on the method chosen and the extent of the treatment.
A hyaluronic acid treatment for dark circles starts at €590
Treatment with an IPL laser starts at €290.
Superficial peels for dark circles under the eyes start at €110.
A personalized cost estimate will be provided during the consultation.
Since these are mostly cosmetic procedures, the costs are generally not covered by health insurance.
At JUVENIS, you will be cared for by experienced aesthetic medicine specialists. Using precise techniques and personalized treatment plans, we achieve natural, fresh-looking results that make the area around your eyes appear more alert and rested—without looking unnatural.
