How does the JUVENIS anti-acne concept work?
A flawless complexion is the trend for both women and men. With a sebum-regulating, pore-reducing and anti-inflammatory treatment, the complexion is refined and appears even and velvety soft again over time.

IPL treatment procedure for blemished skin
In an IPL treatment for blemished skin, short pulses of light are emitted from a flash lamp, which then penetrate the skin. The light has a sebum-regulating and anti-inflammatory effect on the sebaceous glands. Oily skin is normalized and inflammation is reduced. The complexion is refined with each treatment.

We recommend an intensive treatment with 2 to 5 treatments at intervals of 3-4 weeks.
At JUVENIS, treatment is carried out with the Top Laser Nordlys from Candela. The modern IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology is an effective and efficient option and can be easily combined with the other components of the anti-acne concept at JUVENIS.

Acne is a common skin condition that causes inflammation of the sebaceous glands. It is usually caused by clogged pores, increased sebum production, bacteria, and hormonal influences. This leads to blackheads, pimples, inflammatory nodules, or pustules.
Acne occurs particularly frequently during puberty, but can also persist or reappear in adulthood. Women, for example, often suffer from hormone-related acne, caused by cycle fluctuations or hormonal changes.
Depending on the condition of the skin and the cause of the acne, different therapies are used, for example:

The aim is to reduce inflammation, clear pores, and achieve a calmer complexion in the long term.
First, a dermatologist will conduct a thorough examination to assess the cause and severity of your acne. An individual treatment plan will then be drawn up, tailored to your skin type and symptoms.
Most acne treatments are well tolerated. Depending on the method used, you may experience a slight feeling of warmth, tingling, or brief burning, but this usually subsides quickly.
Improvements in skin appearance usually occur gradually. Initial changes may be visible after a few weeks. Since the skin renews itself regularly, several treatments over a longer period of time are recommended.
Early treatment of acne can significantly reduce the risk of scarring. If scars have already formed, JUVENIS offers modern methods for scar treatment and skin regeneration.
Consistent skin care tailored to your skin type is important. Avoid heavily oil-based cosmetic products and refrain from squeezing pimples yourself to prevent inflammation and scarring.
Depending on the treatment, temporary redness, slight dryness, or flaking of the skin may occur. These are usually part of the healing process and generally subside quickly.
