Thread lifting with JUVENIS
Sooner or later, the signs of time catch up with each of us and we notice certain changes. Eyebrows droop, sagging cheeks and unwanted wrinkles appear. The contours become blurred. Wouldn't it be nice to simply "pull" everything back into its original position? This is now possible with a thread lift!
This gentle version of the face lift gives you back your youthful appearance in a procedure lasting around 30 minutes, without affecting your natural facial expressions. The treatment is carried out in the surgery. No anesthesia or incisions are required.
We offer 2 different thread lifts in our practice: either the Silhouette Soft® thread lift or with Definisse threads.

How does thread lifting with Definisse threads work?
Definisse threads are a type of thread lifting threads that use the biodegradable material poly-L-lactic acid and poly-caprolactone (PLCL) to tighten facial contours and stimulate collagen production. These threads have special barbs that ensure a firm hold in the tissue and achieve an immediate lifting effect. The PLCL composition of the Definisse threads ensures a long-lasting effect of up to 18 months and also promotes collagen formation for a long-term improvement in skin structure.
How does thread lifting with Silhouette Soft® work?
Fine polylactic acid threads, on which mini cones are located, are inserted under the skin with a micro-needle. By anchoring the cones in the tissue, sagging cheeks and eyebrows can be pulled upwards, wrinkles smoothed and lost volume restored.

Silhouette Soft® is approved as a medical device and certified by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which sets the highest safety standards for products of this type worldwide. The components of Silhouette Soft® have been used successfully and safely in plastic and aesthetic surgery for many years. The product is completely biodegradable. The procedure can therefore be repeated as often as required.
A thread lift can be used alone or in combination with fillers and botulinum toxin. The price of a thread lift depends on the number of threads used.

FAQs
Thread lifting is a minimally invasive method for skin tightening and facial rejuvenation that does not require surgery. During the procedure, special absorbable threads are inserted under the skin to gently lift the tissue while stimulating the body’s natural collagen production.
In the Silhouette Soft thread lift procedure, fine threads with small cones are inserted into the skin. These cones anchor themselves in the tissue, providing immediate tightening and lifting of sagging skin. At the same time, the material stimulates collagen production, which improves the skin’s structure over the long term.

The treatment is tailored to the unique contours of your face.
After a detailed consultation, the skin is numbed with a local anesthetic. The threads are then inserted under the skin using fine needles and carefully positioned. The procedure usually takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Thanks to the local anesthesia, thread lifts are generally well tolerated. During the procedure, you may feel a slight sensation of pressure.
The lifting effect is immediately visible, as the skin is lifted right away. The results continue to improve over the following weeks as collagen production is stimulated.
The results typically last 12 to 18 months. Since the threads are biodegradable, they are gradually absorbed by the body, while the collagen production continues for a longer period.
After the treatment , you may experience mild swelling, redness, or small bruises. These usually disappear within a few days.
In the first few days after treatment, you should avoid making strong facial expressions, engaging in intense physical activity, and using saunas or tanning beds. Your doctor will provide you with further personalized recommendations.
