Thread lifting at JUVENIS
Sooner or later: the signs of time catch up with each of us and we notice certain changes. The eyebrows droop, sagging cheeks and unwanted fine lines appear. The contours blur. Wouldn’t it be nice to simply "pull" everything back to its original position? With a thread lift this is now possible!
With this gentle variant of the face-lift, you regain your youthful appearance in an approximately 30-minute procedure without affecting your natural facial expressions. The treatment is performed in the practice. No anesthesia and no incisions are required.
In our practice we offer 2 different thread lifts: either the Silhouette Soft® thread lift or with Definisse threads.

How does the thread lift with Definisse threads work?
Definisse threadsare a type of thread-lift threads that use the biodegradable materials poly-L-lactic acid and polycaprolactone (PLCL) to tighten facial contours and stimulate collagen production. These threads feature special barbs that provide a firm hold in the tissue and produce an immediate lifting effect. The PLCL composition of the Definisse threads ensures a long duration of effect of up to 18 months and also promotes collagen formation for a long-term improvement of skin texture.
How does the Silhouette Soft® thread lift work?
Fine polylactic acid threads with tiny cones on them are inserted under the skin using a micro-needle. By anchoring the cones in the tissue, jowls and drooping eyebrows can be lifted, wrinkles smoothed, and lost volume restored.

Silhouette Soft® is approved as a medical device and certified by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which sets the world's highest safety standards for products of this kind. The components of Silhouette Soft® have been used successfully and safely for many years in plastic and aesthetic surgery. The product is fully absorbable. On request, the procedure can therefore be repeated as often as desired.
A thread lift can be performed alone or in combination with fillers and botulinum toxin. The price of a thread lift depends on the number of threads to be used.

FAQs
Thread lifting is a minimally invasive method for skin tightening and facial rejuvenation without surgery. Special resorbable threads are inserted under the skin, gently lifting the tissue while simultaneously stimulating the body's own collagen production.
In the Silhouette Soft thread lift, fine threads with small cones (Cones) are inserted into the skin. These anchor in the tissue and enable a immediate tightening and lifting of sagging skin areas. At the same time, the material stimulates collagen production, which leads to a long-term improvement in the skin's structure.

The treatment is individually tailored to your facial anatomy.
After a thorough consultation, the skin is locally anesthetized. The threads are then inserted under the skin using fine needles and carefully positioned. The treatment usually takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Due to the local anesthesia, the thread lift is generally well tolerated. During the treatment you may feel a slight pressure sensation.
The Tightening effect is immediately visible, as the skin is lifted directly. In the following weeks, the result improves further as collagen production is stimulated.
The effect usually lasts 12 to 18 months in. Because the threads are biodegradable, they are gradually absorbed by the body, while the collagen build-up is preserved for longer.
After the treatment, mild swelling, redness or small bruises may occur. These usually disappear within a few days.
In the first days after the treatment you should avoid strong facial expressions, intense physical activity, as well as saunas or tanning beds. Your doctor will inform you about further individual recommendations.
The cost depends on the treated area and the number of threads used.
