Ultrasound examination of the veins at JUVENIS
The medical team at JUVENIS investigates the causes of spider veins and varicose veins as well as the associated complaints and helps to find the appropriate therapy. During the examination the different types of varicose veins are identified and their extent and distribution patterns are assessed. Based on this examination an individual therapy plan is drawn up.

Remove reticular varicose veins & tributary varicosities and sclerose spider veins (foam sclerotherapy)
Sclerotherapy or foam sclerotherapy is the ideal treatment for slightly larger spider veins, reticular varicose veins and tributary varicosities. To proceed with precision, the varicose veins are made visible with a magnifying loupe during sclerotherapy. The sclerosing agent is then introduced. In the sclerotherapy of varicose veins or spider veins an alcohol-like agent is injected into the veins to be treated, which triggers an inflammatory reaction in the vessel walls, causing them to stick together and dissolve over time and become invisible.

Vein sclerotherapy with endoluminal laser therapy
Even in vein disorders of the large leg veins (trunk varicosis of the major axial veins), endoluminal laser treatment for vein closure is in many cases effective: this is a procedure in which the affected vein is sclerosed or closed using a laser. The treated vein remains in the body and breaks down in the months after the treatment. The varicose vein disappears almost like magic. Tributary varicosities are typically sclerosed in the same session with Aethoxysklerol foam to optimize the result.

Remove spider veins with laser
At JUVENIS suitable spider veins are sclerosed by Prof. Dr. Tamara Kopp plus assistance using modern laser therapy. The Nd:YAG laser sends infrared heat energy into the vessel walls and the blood. This heats the vessel walls and causes them to contract. Result: the red lines lighten and continue to fade in the weeks after the treatment – without the skin being touched by a scalpel.
