FAQs

The preventive check-up is a medical examination for the early detection of diseases. The goal is to identify health risks at an early stage and initiate suitable preventive measures.

Many diseases initially develop without noticeable symptoms. Through regular check-ups, diseases can be detected early and treated better will be.

A preventive check-up is generally useful for all adults (from the age of 18), especially:

  • from a certain age

  • with a family history

  • with an increased health risk

  • for general health monitoring

Depending on requirements, the following examinations can be carried out:

  • detailed medical history

  • Physical examination

  • blood test

  • Blood pressure measurement

  • if necessary, additional diagnostic tests

At the beginning, a detailed discussion about your health status and lifestyle takes place. Afterwards, the necessary examinations are carried out. The examination usually takes approx. 30 to 60 minutes.

In many cases, you should appear fasting, especially if blood tests are planned. You will receive further instructions in advance.

Part of the results are discussed directly. Laboratory values are usually after a short time and will be communicated to you accordingly.

It is recommended to have the examination regularly, about once a year– depending on individual risk, also more frequently.

The examination is usually not painful. Only the blood draw can cause a brief prick.

Regular prevention helps:

  • to detect diseases at an early stage

  • to reduce risk factors

  • to better understand your own health

  • to improve quality of life in the long term

The costs depend on the scope of the examination and the selected services. A preventive check-up + discussion of findings at a 2nd appointment costs from € 180.

The Exact prices will be provided in a personal consultation..

Depending on the examination, a (partial) coverage of costs by the health insurance be possible.
