FAQs
A preventive medical examination is a medical checkup designed to detect diseases at an early stage. The goal is to identify health risks early on and take appropriate preventive measures.
Many illnesses develop initially without noticeable symptoms. Regular checkups allow for early detection and more effective treatment.
A preventive health screening is generally recommended for all adults (aged 18 and older), especially:
from a certain age
if there is a family history
in cases of increased health risk
for a general health checkup
Depending on your needs, the following tests may be performed:
detailed medical history
physical examination
Blood test
Blood pressure measurement
additional diagnostic tests, if necessary
We will start with a detailed discussion about your health and lifestyle. We will then perform the necessary examinations. The examination usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes.
In many cases, you should arrive on an empty stomach, especially if blood tests are scheduled. You will receive further instructions in advance.
Some of the results will be discussed with you right away. Lab results are usually available shortly thereafter and will be communicated to you accordingly.
It is recommended that you have this examination done regularly, about once a year—or more frequently, depending on your individual risk.
The examination is usually painless. Only the blood draw may cause a brief prick.
Regular checkups help:
Detecting diseases early
Reduce risk factors
to better understand one's own health
to improve quality of life in the long term
The cost depends on the scope of the examination and the services selected. A preventive health checkup plus a follow-up consultation at a second appointment starts at €180.
You can get the exact prices during a personal consultation.
Depending on the type of examination, your health insurance may cover some or all of the costs.
At JUVENIS, you benefit from state-of-the-art diagnostics, experienced specialists, and personalized care. Your examination is tailored to your individual needs to best protect and promote your health.
