Who is immunotherapy suitable for?

It should be noted, however, that this is a long-term therapy and should be carried out for 3 years to achieve maximum benefit. This therapy is particularly recommended for severe allergy symptoms such as persistent sneezing, nasal congestion, asthma, or itchy, watery eyes.

What level of success is realistic?

The success of immunotherapy depends on a variety of factors, such as consistency in carrying out the therapy, the severity of the allergy, and the number of allergens.

A clear improvement in symptoms is definitely possible, and in some cases even a complete disappearance. According to current observations, the effect can last up to 10, sometimes even 15 years.

Allergen-specific immunotherapy is the only form of allergy treatment that acts directly on the causal disease processes.
