On August 14, 2025, Tamara Arnoldner, MD, specialist in dermatology at JUVENIS, was invited to appear as an expert on the radio show "Am Puls" on Ö1. The topic of the program was "A hairy affair - help with hair loss". Together with other experts, Dr. Arnoldner discussed the causes of hair loss and presented modern treatment options.
Hair loss - a widespread problem
Hair loss affects both men and women and can have many different causes: genetic predisposition, hormonal changes, stress, certain illnesses or even deficiency symptoms. For those affected, the loss of hair is often not only a cosmetic problem, but also a psychological one.
In addition to the possible triggers and forms of hair loss, Dr. Arnoldner also talks about well-known hair myths and their truthfulness.
Modern therapies against hair loss
In the program, the dermatologist explained which innovative therapies are available today to treat or at least slow down hair loss. These include, among others:
- PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) autologous blood therapy
- Meso microneedling with active ingredients
- Medication approaches
These methods can stimulate hair growth, strengthen the hair follicles and thus ensure thicker, healthier hair.
JUVENIS as a competence center
As part of the JUVENIS team, Dr. Arnoldner contributes her many years of experience in aesthetic dermatology. The focus is on individual consultation and customized treatment concepts that are geared towards the needs and possibilities of each individual patient.
