When the effect of a Botox® treatment wears off after a few months, normal muscle activity gradually returns.

Return of wrinkles:
The treated expression lines (e.g. forehead or frown lines) gradually become visible again. However, they do not appear stronger or deeper than before the first treatment – the skin simply returns to its original condition.

No "getting worse":
There is no risk that the wrinkles will worsen during a break. Many patients even find the return of the wrinkles somewhat gentler, as the skin was able to recover during the treatment period.

Individual decision:
Whether you want a follow-up treatment depends entirely on your personal preference and aesthetic goals. The treatment can be repeated at any time without any disadvantages resulting from an interruption.
