The attached photos document the precise procedure in the facial area, in which a basal cell carcinoma was surgically removed along the root of the nose. A sliding flap plasty was used, in which neighboring skin tissue is moved in order to close the resulting wound without tension. This technique not only ensures complete removal of the tumor, but also a particularly aesthetic result with a barely visible scar along natural skin lines. In the after photo, you can see very clearly that this area shows no visible scars or damage to the skin.
