Psoriasis is an inflammatory, non-infectious skin disease in which the body's own tissue is attacked by the immune system. The messenger substance of the immune system, interleukin-23, is involved in this.

In one study, a total of 77 patients (with moderate to severe symptoms) were injected with different amounts of the antibody "Tildrakizumab" or a placebo preparation. The patients who received the highest dose had up to 100 percent relief from the symptoms of psoriasis.

Phase II of the trial has now been completed and is now in a Phase III clinical trial, which is the final stage before possible approval.
