The psoriasisalso known as psoriasis, is one of the most common chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The typical redness and thickening of the skin usually appears on the elbows, knees, in the crease of the buttocks or on the hairy scalp. Psoriasis is not contagious and cannot be cured, but it is easily treatable.
