Study on a new treatment for atopic dermatitis

A study is currently underway at Vienna General Hospital with Dr. Christine Bangert from JUVENIS involving 40 people who are testing an old antibiotic for atopic dermatitis. This kills the bacteria on the skin, but is not absorbed by the body and does not cause any lasting resistance. This study is due to be completed in 2018, after which it will be decided whether a larger approval study will be conducted.
