Who is immunotherapy suitable for?

However, it should be noted that this is a long-term therapy and should be carried out for 3 years for maximum therapeutic success. This therapy is particularly recommended for severe allergy symptoms such as constant sneezing, nasal congestion, asthma or itchy, watery eyes.

What level of success is realistic?

The success of immunotherapy depends on a number of factors, such as the consistency with which the therapy is carried out, the severity of the allergy and the number of allergens.

In any case, there is always a significant improvement in symptoms, and in some cases even a complete disappearance. According to current observations, the success lasts up to 10, sometimes even 15 years.

Allergen-specific immunotherapy is the only form of allergy treatment that acts directly on the causative disease processes.
